One of the cutest things on television is a line from many infomercials:
"Run your own business. Be your own boss."
Now there's an oxymoron if I ever saw one.
Long after his workers have gone home, the small businessman is still slaving away to please the hardest bosses of all: his customers.
Yea, what used to get me was when those info mercials say how you can make $80,000 and up working form home, be your own boss and take vacations or extra days off when you want. :) :) :)
My husband often quips that he can't retire. The guy he works for is a real SOB. Not to mention, the quarterly tax payments, or get penalized and other friendly "benefits." Such freedom.
