Something definitely needs to be done, but we have some real problems we need to deal with: morale, coaching new people, etc. etc.
One problem I haven't seen brought up is how we are going to tell whether a person claiming to have posted the mantra IS actually posting the mantra. Potentially, trolls could just post on BUGS only pretending to have posted elsewhere. Then, we take these trolls seriously when they comment or offer help on projects.
I'm not sure what the solution is, but I've heard a lot of good ideas that have potential. I'm liking the idea of private, vetted group(s), and of proportional link posting. Maybe every 3rd or 4th?
I think every 3rd or 4th would be a good compromise (in conjunction with some of the ideas expressed above). I tend to post in 3-4 different places at a time, so for me that would translate into one link per mantra run.
I like the idea of small groups working together too. Maybe groups of 5-10 people with at least 1-2 veterans could work together and post all their results on a private group forum or group chat (e.g. a group skype chat), and the trusted veteran could guide the others, and report back once or twice a week (maybe with 1/4 links or something)?
New people could be assigned to a group, and they would feel like they were working with real people, see links, etc. etc. If they don't post enough, or pull some BS, they only compromise that one cell and could easily be kicked out. It would require a hell of a lot more work on the anti-whites' part to screw with that system.
I for one, would be willing to help set up a small group via skype text chat if others don't know how to do it. I'm no vet, though, and have been inactive for the past month for personal reasons but Blackbyte can vouch for my putting good work into the FTWR #1 transcription.
Anyway, something will work. Just remember this is good news. This means we are being effective. They won't be able to stop us. Anti-whites are only spurring us into more creativity and professionalism.
@PatrickWhiteRabbit you said,
"For some reason 99.9% of my comments don't appear anymore in the "where did you" thread when posting under TOR (which i do 100% of the time nowadays). So i am already doing this!"
I've had the same problem. Here's how I get around it:
1. Copy and paste whatever you are planning to post onto the SWARM into a word doc (preferably first, so you don't accidentally hit submit before copying it).
2. If it doesn't go through the first time. Shut down Tor and open it again.
3. Sign in.
4. Copy and Paste from word doc.
This has never failed me. I know it sounds a bit like a pain in the ass but it's really not as bad as it sounds. It also helps if you do bigger posts instead of lots of little one. This way you just amass all your links in the word doc. and if you have to restart Tor then, it's not such a big deal b/c you're done anyway.
Don't know why I need to restart Tor. But it's better than trying to post the same thing 16 times and getting all miffed about it.
@Horus
Good to know. I wasn't aware of that distinction between youtube/facebook/yahoo and MSM sites.
@anyone
Does the one comment rule still apply? I'm not trying to get on anyones case, I'm just not sure since I've been out of the loop for a minute. I think this one may kind of be an exception, given the level of importance etc.
