THE MAN WHO STAYED FOR DINNER | 2007-04-14

One thing I am thoroughly sick of seeing on television is the guy who says, "Well, I was an immigrant," or "My grandparents were immigrants," "so I support immigration."

What if you invited someone to stay at your house, and he said to you, "Well, since you invited me to visit, I must insist that you invite EVERYBODY to stay here." Would you be glad you invited him? Would you consider him SANE?

"The Man Who Came to Dinner" is a comedy about an Englishman who was invited to dinner and simply STAYED. He became a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the private home simply because he had been invited to eat there once.

Being English, the story says, the homeowner could not bring himself to say, in plain language, "GET OUT!"

Does this story sound familiar when it comes to immigration?

Or how about "it is not right to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs." That is what has been done to us and our posterity.

All their arguments about the invaders being nice or immigrants are nothing when you consider that it means genocide.

Those with "Free Tibet" on their cars don't care how nice the Chinese invaders may be or that Tibetans migrated to Tibet.

That was a very good way to put it.

You have inspired my awe (again).

What about the "Golden Rule?"

I also would question the substitution of terms in your counterpoint.

It's not really analogous.

If we are innately "Golden Rule" people, we can't under any circumstances allow our arguments to be framed in "Golden Rule" terms. The Leftist/Marxist/Environmentalist/Liberal moral high ground is based upon absolute adherence to the "Golden Rule". They are all moralists at heart.

We are so taken with our material/moral/ethical ascendency on this planet that we believe we can alter matter with our thoughts alone.

I might be accused of sounding like an old Christian here, but it's not self hatred that is destroying us.

It's pride.

College professors don't jump off of bridges.

They pontificate from thrones.

Meanwhile, so called intelligent rightists accuse the Left of Manicheism.

While drinking from the same ontological fountain.

Any white person is preferable to any non-white person.

No Matter What They Believe.

Christianity, Political Correctness, Marxism, Communism, Socialism, Capitalism are words on a page that whites use to differentiate themselves.

No one else on this planet subscribes to this crap.
